Movie Magic - Phantoms @ the DND

After a tremendous effort of preparation, we won the best table theme at this year D&D - Phantom of the Opera. So, how does a MTB looked in costume? Let's see... Not too bad right? At least I managed to squeese into one. Now guess who are behind those masks!

Today, we went for our DND costume fitting. It was pretty stressful as nothing fit well on me. Sigh.

My tummy amazing growth !

This is a photo taken on 10-Sep-08. This was taken last night (17-Oct-08).Its amazing! My tummy has grown so much in just 1 to 2 months. And I have since put on about 6Kg.

~~ First Business Trip - Freiburg, Germany ~~

I have never expected that I will be making my first business trip during my 5th month journey into pregnany. We flew business class on SIA (its my first time experience on buz class). It was simply awesome, I meant the flight.

Attended Evan and Mabel's Wedding @ GCW. Bride is pretty, food is nice, what else can we complain? There is also a nice serving of mooncakes and nuts at the reception area! And this is Yizhai enjoying himself with the nuts! He will be the next upcoming groom.. Stress?? Ask him!

My Sweeties

Instead of having roses during valentine day, which wouldn't last more than a week, this year I have asked for gold fishes! We went fish shopping on the night before the chinese new year eve.

But after 5 days, there is only one fish left.. Poor sweeties.. And almost everyday, someone gota scoop dead fish from the bowl.. Aawww..

Anyway, we got new partners for the lucky one that survived (that big one in the photo), and he can then share his tale of surviving tactics. But then again, with a small brain of 30seconds memory, I doubt he can recall anything now.. hahaha

My HOLIDAY starts today

The first day of my holiday leave. A rainy day. Had a good sleep till late afternoon. Did a bit of laundry and then went out. Caught the show ~THE HOLIDAY~. Its quite nice. Jude Law is very sweet. Charming. This is how he looked in the show... So cute!

DECEMBER is finally here

Have not blog for a while. But I am still the same old me. Am still obsessed with nails and nail enamel.

Update from Wakin's Concert? The whole show lasted three and half hours. Other then the few minutes when he left the stage to change, the indoor stadium is always filled with songs. He sang many songs that we loved (still loving?.. love). As usual, he cracked some jokes here and there. He have aged, and we have aged too. **All the audience that night are at least >20 years old** Took a few short video clips using my camera, but have not figured out how to post on blogger. Anyway, the sound effect is lousy.

Jingle bells are ringing.. Christmas is coming.. Here and there, everywhere is filled with christmas decoration. Nice. Looking forward to christmas and my vacation. A short one.. to somewhere that is nearby, but it doesnt matter.. I am going for VACATION!!

A tiring day... Perhaps because I didnt sleep well last night. Could it be the effect of the coffee that I drank yesterday afternoon? Struggling through the day, and keeping myself away from any coffee after lunch.
And thanks to DAvid, who offer me a piece of your chocolate.
Hopefully, tonight I will sleep well.. like a pig **SNOre SNOre**
Oh what about the cookies? Nothing, hehee just thought that coffee go well with cookies.. Yummy! And I have just finished up my last piece of crabtree and evelyn toffee crunch cookies. Nice!

Weeping Miffy

A sAd dAy

Realized the care and concern you gave people will not be the same as to what you will receive. Probably because I always thought it should be (or eventually it will be), so that's why I am so sad when I realized the truth.. Taken the truth hard.

And had a bad sleep. WAking up feeling more upset and angry. Had a dream about someone and something making me mad again. Cannot remember what is the dream now. Wondered how could life be so hard.. After a bad incident in real life, yet you are still disturbed in your sleep by dream..

A single sad incident brought back other unhappy memories.. like a piece of magnet attracting all kind of magnetic objects from distant.. even those that happened about 5 to 10 years ago. All the unhappiness occupied 80% of my mind the whole day.. a rainy day..

Wonder when will all this sadness end..

Recently, I got myself a new hobby. **GROWING NAILS**

It all started on one day when I was shopping with my friend at Vivocity. While passing by a manicure shop, I decided to pamper my ugly nails with a manicure session. It was also an attempt to quit my nail bitting habit.

Since young, I have been bitting my nails (especially when I am thinking, stress, bored, unhappy). I was never successful in kicking off the bad habit. After the manicure session, no more nail bite! Hurray!... Probably it was the effect of the coat of paint that made the nails looked "distasteful"..?

Now, I am obsessed with nails. Almost everyday, I found myself browsing through forums on nails talk, surfing websites on nail lacquers and colors, thinking when shall I give them a new coat of color...Need to constantly restrain myself from buying anymore nail lacquer...

Discovered that the price of a nail lacquer (same brand and color), can vary from <$10 to >$20, depending on where you get it from.

Wondering why is my nails growing so slowly. It has been more than 3 weeks. Why is it still so short?
